Coronavirus Covid-19

Updated: Mar 20, 2020

A message to our loyal customers and vendors,

At Hawaii Logistic Services (HLS), the health & safety of our employees, customers and vendors alike are our number one priority. With the constant breaking news regarding Covid-19, we are closely monitoring best practices provided by the government and state authorities to ensure a safe work place.

HLS has made a company decision to require a mandatory 14 day home quarantine for employees that have traveled out of state. Those employees will not return to work until a home quarantine is completed. Our employees are encouraged to sanitize all of our trucks & equipment, office areas and work surfaces throughout the day, before and after every shift. In support of social distancing, we are limiting the amount of people that enter and gather in our facilities. Employees that are ill are encouraged to stay home and those that have been ill are required to provide a medical clearance by their primary physician before returning to work.

I want to personally assure you that HLS and its amazing employees remain 100% committed to supporting the well-being of our customers, vendors, our own fellow employees, their families and the community. Under these challenging circumstances, our operations will continue to transport goods. We will communicate when necessary, if we foresee any interruptions or changes to our service. We are privileged to be partnered with you and take pride in our service. HLS will continue to provide best-in-class transportation service and we appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time.

Stay healthy.

Sincerely,

Patrick Toves

Vice President
